The Delta Tracker shows side-by-side current prices on a Japanese Pokemon product across three reference points: Japanese-domestic shop ask, international-facing Japanese retailer price, and US-secondary marketplace price.

What it shows

For each tracked product, three numbers updated daily:

  • JP-domestic ask (Yuyu-tei or Card Rush, in JPY)
  • International-facing JP retailer (Hareruya2 or AmiAmi, in JPY)
  • US-secondary (TCGplayer, in USD with FX-converted JPY equivalent)

The gap between the first two is the proxy-ecosystem premium. The gap between domestic JP and US-secondary is the JP-to-US arbitrage window.

Why it exists

PriceCharting, TCGplayer, and Card Ladder all source Japanese-card data from Western marketplaces. They report what Japanese cards sell for to Western buyers, not what they sell for in Japan. The Delta Tracker is the only English-language tool that surfaces both numbers simultaneously.
